OUR MINISTRIES
As a church, we have a wide variety of programs an ministries for everyone to get involved in. There is a place for you.
Prayer
In our church, prayer matters. Every Wednesday night, adults meet together to pray for the church and community. We also hold home prayer meetings every other month to take praying outside the walls of the church.
Children
At FBC Kennard we run an AWANAS program as our childrens ministry. Students meet every Wednesday until summer from 6-8pm. Students in 3rd-5th grade also attend preteen camp every summer. The church also does Vacation Bible School every summer as a means to reach the community's lost children.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Starts at 9:30 on Sunday Mornings. There are different class for all age groups, couples, and singles. We also have different classes for your children to go to as well. Join us in studying God's word.
Youth
The youth (7th-8th grade) meet every Wednesday night for OverFlow. Gym opens at 5 for students to come hang out and play games. The service starts at 7. The youth also go to camp every summer and attend various events during the school year.
Music
Our church has a choir that you are welcome to join. Music on Sundays is led by Jerry and Margaret Wright. We are also trying to form a praise team to perform contempory music during the service. Please let us know if you are interested.
Community service
The local church exists to help the community and share the Gospel with our neighbors. If you are putting on an event and need help, do not hessitate to ask us for help. We will be more than happy to assisst you.
